We glide on midnight wings

I see it there
Beneath the pebbles
A tiny speck
Reflecting the sun
Remove the pebbles
One by one
A gold ring
Held firmly fast
Back to my home
Place it on the pile
So many shiny baubles
Spark my desire
All mine

Weightless

Floating on the ocean
Water pressing against back
Skin baked beneath
